In 2008-2009, through funding provided by the United States Agency for International Development, NARUC and RERA worked together to design and implement two training courses helping RERA provide capacity building to its members and other African regulators.
The first course took place December 10-12, 2008 in Lusaka, Zambia and targeted Commissioners from RERA. The second training included a broader group, namely mid and senior level staff from the regulators, government officials, and industry.
NARUC is pleased to assist RERA in efforts to strengthen their members and help the southern African association continue to develop.
